Gor's Synopsis

Hi Robbie and Adam,
We have come up with an interesting and exciting storyline for the opera. It was a bit challenging but absolutely rewarding! The kids are extremely excited and so am I. Hope you enjoy the story!
Setting: Egypt ( Dessert, Pyramid, Tomb, Palace, Nubia)
Characters: King Tut and Ankah (main)
King Ramses, Nubian, Anabas (scribe) Joseph, Amun (Sun God)

Beginning: Archaeologist have been searching to find clues that resolve the mystery of the Egyptian civilization that has been around for many centuries. A determined archaeologist Nick, looking through artifacts finds a letter stuck in the edges of the tomb solves the mystery. "We have accomplished the quest of immortality, a letter written by a scribe, Anabas, put this letter in King Tut's tomb." Nick began reading the letter the reviling the survival of Egypt.
King Ramses announced to his subjects "My people I come to you with sheer joy, the royal family welcomes the heir of Egypt, our son Tut!" The arrival of Tut spread around the world, but the Nubian were jealous because of Egypt's fame. Nubian's were trying to plan an invasion into Egypt and rule it again (done in the past from 747-647 for a 100 years). Now seemed like the perfect time since King Ramses would be preoccupied by his son. The Nubian's arrived and disguised as Egyptians staretd invading one by one.

Middle: The preparation for the royal descent of King Tut have been made and the mummification of King Ramses and his army who died defending Egypt against the Nubian. The Nubian's plan was not onlt to steal King Ramses Luxor (a lucky charm needed for the after life) but also the Black land near the Nile river used by the Egyptians to grow healthy crops every year. The Nubian civilization came with their army led by Stone, who once worked for King Ramses, but despised him since he did not get to be the leader for his army. Stone decided to help Nubian leader Ankah, who was second in command. Ankah has a scheme he wanted to find out the whereabouts of King Ramses tomb to steal the Luxor so he pretended to betray his people and told King Tut about their (nubian) plan to steal the Luxor. Ankah's scheme seemed to work he wanted to build trust from the Egyptian people and King Tut so he could get closer to King Ramses' tomb and it seemed to work. Ankah gets the information about King Ramses' tomb and tells the Nubians to go and get the Luxor, once they have it to go back to Nubia. A slave, Joseph working on the pyramid overhears two Nubian talking about how Ankah outsmartened King Tut and went to the palace and told King Tut the news. Furious King Tut realized Ankah's motives and decided to go to his father's tomb to see if the Luxor went missing.

End: Once at the tomb of his father King Tut saw the Luxor missing and captured Nubian leader Ankah and interrogated him in the palace dungeon to know the whereabouts of his fathers' Luxor. But Ankah did not give out any information and at midnight escaped. The next day King Tut once again outsmartened by the Nubian leader Ankah, was frustrated and did not know how he was going to protect Egypt and his people he loved so much? He thought of an idea and went to his fathers tomb and remembered a prayer give him to use only once by the Sun God Amun for his wish. King Tut said the prayer and brought his father and his army to life (chours) and told them to find Ankah and defeat the Nubian civilization. King Ramses went to Nubia and defeated the Nubian and brought Ankah to King Tut. Ankah was interrogated and imprisoned for life. King Ramses had his Luxor back and was finally able to return to teh after life in peace.
